Methodology

We started with a numerous intensive discussions before we reach on this type of topic. We traveled for at least two hours and stayed for a long day in the community just to have an interview with the people living there.

We extend our gratitude to the local residents that we interviewed. They gave us ideas, knowledge, and entertained us even though they are very busy with their work regarding to bamboos. Without them, this blog will not be completed on the given time.

Our team also used books, internet and other materials for the other sources regarding with the bamboo.

For our parents, who gave us financial and moral support: for teachers and friends thank you very much.

We used softwares like Adobe Photoshop, Windows Live Movie Maker, Adobe Photoshop and others for the enhancement of the designs for the blog.

  Composing the team
Since it was very hard for us to divide the tasks, we consulted our coach to help us to choose a students in our group if who will be the acting team leader. Then, the team leader decided to divide again the remaining team mates into three: the researchers, encoders and video editors. The team leader gave us a time period to do the tasks so that the blog will be finish on time. That's why we collaborate with each other. Our team leader was the one who suggested the topic and searched for a place which co-inside with the topic.

 Conceptualizing the Blog Design

After the research team was structured, the team leader announced that the topic that is nice to be presented and made into blog is all about bamboos. We all agreed because bamboos are important source of livelihood of people living in our place. Since we already have a topic, the blog designs and layouts were also planned. The team decided that the blog should be more on bamboo designs and have a catching background. The group has already decided on everything.

 The extensive research

After conceptualizing the blog design, the researchers extensively offered their one whole day time so that the blog will be rich in content.

We used books and internet to widen the info about the bamboo. We also planned to visit a place here to have an interview with the people who are the major source of livelihood is bamboo.

An interview with the Brgy. Captain

We already done with the research, the team, but except for the interview with an expert regarding bamboo.

The team successfully entertained by the Barangay Captain of Palkan, Mr. Ronilo Apito. The team efficiently jotted down notes and figures and successfully took the video clearly and quality-wise. An interview is a conversation between two or more people (the interviewer and the interviewee) where questions are asked by the interviewer to obtain information from the interviewee.

 Painstaking Editing

It was really hard for us to put the information, videos and picture we gathered. Aside from it, we should use a right words in order for us to express the knowledge clearly about bamboo. With the help of our teachers, we come up in more appropriate usage of words.

As for the photos and videos, the team decided to make use of photo and video-editing software. Thanks for Ma'am Aida Nale, a teacher who taught us many lessons on how to edit these photos and videos.
Our team is proud to present this blog to all viewers to share our experiences in the land called the "Place of Hope".
